Q. How long have you been involved with The Open Group?
I obtained my TOGAF® Standard 10th Edition Foundation and Practitioner certifications back in December 2023. Later, I obtained the TOGAF EA Leader badge.
Q. What do you do, and how long have you been doing it?
I’m a Systems Engineer, and for the past 6 years I’ve been leading digital transformations teams in the CPG and agriculture industries. About 10 months ago, I started a new business as a corporate transformation advisor for family-owned businesses.
Q. Why did your organization become a Member of The Open Group Architecture Forum and what does/will your involvement look like?
We believe Enterprise Architecture is a misunderstood discipline that can add much needed value to businesses from all industries and sizes. However, not many organizations realize its value and even fewer have the capabilities to push the discipline and expand it.
Our involvement will include sharing experiences gained with customers and participation in events.
Q. How has/will membership in The Open Group benefit you, your organization, and the industry at large?
The Open Group will grant knowledge through the Architecture Forum and a commercial license to offer TOGAF courses on an online platform.
Q. Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?
To leverage the knowledge and expand the best practices in enterprise architecture as a discipline to solve many of the business transformation challenges many organizations face today.
